Wang Wen-hsien is a photographer from Beigang Town on the island of Taiwan. For the past three years, he's been traveling regularly across the Taiwan Strait to Meizhou Island in Fujian Province, southeastern China. His purpose is to photograph a series of events related to Mazu, the goddess of the sea who's revered across southern China and beyond.
