As the biggest consumer of minerals, China is the leading driver in the global transition to clean energy, said Shukhrat Ibragimov, CEO and chairman of the Board of Directors at Eurasian Resources Group, in an interview with CGTN's Guan Xin at Davos 2025.
Ibragimov noted that in 2023, China invested close to $900 billion in the alternative energy sector, which is likely the largest investment compared to other countries. Being major suppliers, we must meet China's demand, he added.
