Amid rising tariff tensions, China reaffirms its stance: "Trade wars have no winners." In an interview with CGTN, WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala noted that global trade reached a record $30.4 trillion in 2023, defying protectionist trends. She stressed the importance of a free, open and stable multilateral trading system and called for calm, cooperation and rational solutions to global challenges.
