A famous statue commands a vantage point on Meizhou Island in Fujian Province, southeastern China. It depicts the revered sea goddess, Mazu. What many of the visitors who come every year to see this iconic landmark may not realize, is that it's part of a pair. The other is located on the island of Taiwan, at the top of the Mazu Culture Tower at Chaotian Temple in Beigang. Tune in to the CGTN documentary "The Journey of the Goddess" to discover how these two statues came to be gazing at each other across the Taiwan Strait.
