Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake stressed the profound history of China's development achievements and the importance of people's unity in an interview with CMG. He pointed out that the friendly relationship between China and Sri Lanka goes back to ancient times and the two sides have had exchanges in trade for thousands of years. He said he looked forward to pushing Sri Lanka-China relations to a new stage through his visit to the country.
