Celebrity guests are preparing for China's annual Spring Festival Gala, which gets underway on Tuesday. CGTN reporter Wang Mengjie caught up with some of them prior to the show.

Some performers extended their wishes for a happy Chinese New Year in this Year of the Snake, while others shared how the Spring Festival holds special significance as the most important day of the year for them.
