With the Asian Winter Games set to start in Harbin on February 7, arrival and departure services have been initiated, and the primary Athletes' Village for ice event participants has entered its pre-opening phase.
The arrival and departure services began on January 27 and will remain operational until February 17.
At Harbin Taiping International Airport, several delegations activated their identification cards after undergoing verification by staff members. They were subsequently escorted to their accommodations, including those staying at the main Athletes' Village for ice events.
The complex will offer living quarters, dining facilities, medical care, and various other services for approximately 1,000 participants hailing from more than 20 nations and regions.
The remaining Athletes' Villages are scheduled to pre-open on Thursday, January 30.
