Two Chinese citizens were killed in an aircraft collision in Washington, D.C., according to preliminary information provided by the Chinese embassy to the U.S.

Air travel resumed at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on January 30, following the deadly collision that occurred on Wednesday night. An American Airlines regional passenger plane and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter crashed into the Potomac River after the midair collision. All 67 people aboard both the passenger jet and military helicopter were killed. As authorities continue searching for bodies, the tragedy quickly descended into a partisan blame game.
