Many ports in China experience a new peak in inbound and outbound passenger flows during the 2025 Spring Festival holiday over the past two days, China Media Group (CMG) reported on Saturday.
Since the beginning of the Spring Festival holiday, Shenzhen-Zhongshan cross-sea passage has handled a total of 333,900 vehicles, with the daily traffic volume hitting 95,400, it said.
During the the first four days of the Spring Festival, border inspection agencies in Shenzhen handled over 2.1 million cross-border trips, an increase of 9.4 percent compared to last year, according to CMG.
During the Spring Festival holiday, Hekou County in southwest China's Yunnan Province which borders Vietnam has also seen a peak in the number of cross-border passengers. Many Vietnamese tourists entered China through Hekou during the period, it said.
