China's 'Cremona of the East' Huangqiao shaping future of violin production

The violin, a timeless instrument with rich European heritage, has found a new production center in Huangqiao, a small town in Jiangsu Province, east China. While Cremona in Italy is historically celebrated as the birthplace of the world's finest violins, Huangqiao now produces one-third of the global supply.
