'Panda Ducks' add vibrant touch to N China's Yellow River Wetland

01:02

More than 100 "Panda Ducks" have been spotted in the Sanwan section of the Yellow River Wetland in Pinglu County, north China's Shanxi Province. They are excellent divers, using their sharp beaks to catch fish. The species is nicknamed the "Panda Duck" for its striking black-and-white plumage, particularly the males, which have a white body with black markings and a distinctive "panda-like" appearance around their eyes.
