US President Donald Trump has threatened to impose high tariffs on goods from Canada and Mexico respectively. The US is the largest economy and Trump believes America has all the leverage to set the terms for all its trading partners, even disregarding relationships with its allies, so he wants to make America alone in the world, said Xing Yuqing, professor of economics at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo, Japan, in an interview with CGTN.
