Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gifted U.S. President Donald Trump a golden pager during their meeting on Tuesday in Washington, D.C., in an apparent reference to Israel's electronic device attacks in Lebanon last September, CNN reported.
Trump returned a photograph of them both as his gift to Netanyahu. He signed the photograph, "To Bibi, A great leader!."
On September 17-18, thousands of explosions rocked Lebanon as Israel launched an attack targeting pagers and walkie-talkies held by members of the Lebanese group Hezbollah, causing immense disruptions and dozens of casualties across the country.
Trump said the attack was "a great operation" after receiving the gift, an Israeli official told ABC News.
