Foreign audiences amazed by Asian Winter Games opening in Harbin

The opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games commenced on Friday night in Harbin, the capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. CGTN's Xu Jinhui asked foreign spectators about their impressions of the event. Kamel Abdalla, a photographer from the UAE National Olympic Committee News Team, praised the ceremony, saying, "China always amazes us."

The highlight of the opening ceremony was the moment the cauldron was lit at Ice and Snow World, inspiring many foreigners to add it to their must-visit list during the Games. Paerolof Livf, a technical official with the International Ice Hockey Federation, said visiting Ice and Snow World is one of his top priorities while in Harbin.
