The 9th Asian Winter Games opened on Friday in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, with OCA First Vice President Timothy Fok Tsun-ting praising the city's efficient preparations.
Running from February 7 to 14, under the theme "Dream of Winter, Love among Asia," the Games feature a record 1,275 athletes from 34 countries and regions competing in 64 events across 11 disciplines.
