Kim Jae-youl, president of the International Skating Union (ISU), visited CGTN Sports Scene's studio for the on-going 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.
Kim praised the host city's hosting of the Asian Winter Games as well as China's work of utilizing the legacy from the Winter Olympic Games in 2022.
Kim received a New Year present from CGTN Sports Scene's Greg Laffradi and sent his best wishes to CGTN, which has been a long-time partner with the ISU.
The ISU Director General Colin Smith was also part of the visit and, in his first trip to Harbin, said he was impressed by the Asian Winter Games as well as the city where a lot of top Chinese winter sports athletes are from.
