The ice and snow tourism market on the outskirts of Jincheng City, Shanxi Province, peaked over the recent Spring Festival holiday and continues to be active. The government of Lingchuan County, a county in the southeast of Shanxi Province, has issued vouchers for ice and snow tourism in two rounds since early January. A total of 5 million yuan (almost $690,000) worth of vouchers will be handed out by the end of February. The vouchers can be used for ice and snow sports, associated products, and ski resort accommodation expenses.
