Jang Sung-woo of South Korea won the short track speed skating men's 1,000-meter gold medal at the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, on Sunday. In an interview with CGTN Sports Scene, he said he really enjoyed competing in the Chinese "Ice City" despite the cold weather.

Moreover, the International Skating Union (ISU) World Sharot Track Speed Skating Championships will take place in Beijing in mid-March. Jang said he's looking forward to participating in the tournament and hopes that he can appear in the Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo in 2026.
