China Media Group (CMG) released the program lineup for the highly anticipated 2025 Lantern Festival Gala on Wednesday.

This year's gala promises a spectacular blend of performances, including songs, dances, skits and cross-talk, inviting global audience to actively participate in the jubilant celebrations.

The Lantern Festival, observed on the 15th day of the first month of the Chinese lunar calendar, falls on February 12 this year.

The gala airs at 8 p.m. Beijing Time on Wednesday across multiple CMG television channels, including CCTV-1, CCTV-3, CCTV-4, CCTV-15 and dedicated 4K and 8K ultra-high-definition channels. It will also be available on various CMG radio frequencies and new media platforms.

First broadcast in 1985, the Lantern Festival Gala has accompanied the Chinese people on the special occasion of family reunions ever since.
