Heavy snowfall across Türkiye has led to the suspension of student transport and the closure of numerous roads, local media reported Wednesday.
The snowfall has impacted several regions, including Kahramanmaras, Adiyaman, and Malatya in the south, as well as coastal areas like Samsun and Sinop in the north, prompting authorities to halt student transport or close schools.

In northern Kastamonu province, 335 village roads have been shut down, according to reports.
In Istanbul, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality announced that heavy snowfall is expected to continue until the weekend.
