As of 19:10 p.m. Beijing Time on February 13, the Chinese animated blockbuster "Ne Zha 2" had grossed 10 billion yuan (around $1.37 billion US dollars), including pre-sales, making it the first Asian film to enter the global box office top 17.

The Chinese blockbuster premiered in Australia and New Zealand in advance screenings from February 10 to 12 and officially hit cinemas in those countries on February 13.

On February 12, several Chinese moviegoers in Sydney, Australia, told Chinese media that the number of screenings had increased compared to earlier schedules, with as many as nine showings in a single day.

"'Ne Zha 2' is absolutely incredible! You won't want to miss a single minute!" said Xiaohui, a moviegoer in Sydney, who shared her excitement about the film with Chinese media Jimu News on February 11. She noted that the movie’s screening schedule has been extended from the original three days to 10 days.

"The entire two-hour running time is packed with excitement. Whether it's one-on-one combat or large scale battle scenes, every moment is filled with detail. The action sequences and special effects are phenomenal!" Xiaohui added. She observed that almost no one in the theater left during the screening.

Beyond Australia and New Zealand, "Ne Zha 2" opens on February 13, in Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Malaysia, Egypt, South Africa, Pakistan, Japan, and South Korea.
