The 9th Asian Winter Games witnessed a thrilling display of speed and skill as athletes pushed the limits of their performance, setting multiple new records on the ice. During the Games, which were held from February 7 to 14 in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, Chinese skater Ning Zhongyan delivered a standout performance, breaking records in two speed skating events. Meanwhile, Choi Min-jeong of the Republic of Korea dominated the short-track speed skating competition, setting two new records of her own.
