Chinese athletes wrapped up their competitions at the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, on Friday, with another two bronze medals and one silver.
The hosts beat China's Hong Kong 10-3 in the men's curling third-place game to add their 25th bronze medal. The gold went to the Philippines who upset South Korea 5-3 in the final for their first-ever Asian Winter Games title.
China lost to South Korea 7-2 in the women's curling final, watching their opponents secure a 16th gold at the Games. The silver was the hosts' 27th at the event. In the bronze medal contest, Japan eased Kazakhstan 6-3.
Kazakhstan got their revenge against Japan in the men's ice hockey final with a 5-0 win and the title. South Korea defeated China 5-2 to bring home the bronze.
The women's ice hockey competitions ended last on Friday and Japan thrashed China 8-1 in their final game to clinch gold. Kazakhstan finished as the runner-up thanks to a 3-0 win over South Korea. The hosts come third for bronze.
