The premiere of Chinese animated blockbuster "Ne Zha 2" will be held in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region today (February 18) and in the Macao Special Administrative Region on February 19, according to the National Film Administration.
The highly anticipated animated film will be released for wider audiences across the two regions on February 22.
The movie is a sequel to the hugely popular "Ne Zha," which was released in 2019. It has become China's highest-grossing animated film and entered global box office top nine after raking in over 12.1 billion yuan (about $1.67 billion) globally.
With its stunning visuals and thrilling story line, "Ne Zha 2" is expected to draw large audiences in the two regions.
