Australia's central bank cuts cash rate to 4.1%

The Reserve Bank of Australia on Tuesday cut the cash rate by 25 basis points to 4.1 percent in its first rate cut since November 2020.

The central bank's board said that it "remains cautious on prospects for further policy easing" as "upside risks remain."
