The Chinese government is providing 60,000 food packages as emergency aid to the Gaza Strip in Palestine. The packages will be transported overland from Jordan and distributed by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization in six batches. The initial batch, consisting of 12,000 packages, departed from Jordan on Tuesday and will be handed over to the World Food Program and distributed by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society after arrival.
