Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said China is ready to deepen its comprehensive strategic partnership with Uganda as he met with Ugandan Foreign Minister Jeje Odongo at the United Nations headquarters in New York on Tuesday.
Noting that China and Uganda have always respected, trusted, and supported each other, Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said China will always be a sincere friend and reliable partner on Uganda's path to development and revitalization.
Odongo said Uganda views China as a trustworthy and dependable partner, admires the governance achievements of the CPC and hopes to learn from China's modernization development path.
