China is ready to work with Bolivia to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and push the bilateral strategic partnership to a new level, said Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Tuesday.
Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks during a meeting with Bolivian Foreign Minister Celinda Sosa Lunda at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
He noted that this year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bolivia and the 200th anniversary of Bolivia's independence.
China supports Chinese businesses to invest in Bolivia and helps Bolivia accelerate its development and improve people's livelihood, Wang said.
