Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng held a video call with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Friday upon invitation. 

The two sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on key economic issues.

Both acknowledged the importance of China-U.S. economic and trade relations, and agreed to maintain ongoing communication on matters of mutual concern.

The Chinese side expressed serious concerns regarding recent U.S. tariffs and other restrictive measures imposed on China.
