Located in Guanghan, Sichuan Province, the Sanxingdui Ruins are believed to be the remnants of the Shu Kingdom, which dates back some 3,000 to 4,500 years. Covering an area of 12 square kilometers, the ruins were accidentally discovered by a farmer in the 1920s. Since then, more than 60,000 cultural relics have been unearthed from the site.
