Qingdao derby ends in thrilling draw, Shanghai Port edge Shenzhen

Qingdao Hainiu and Qingdao West Coast played to an exhilarating 2-2 draw in the Chinese Super League derby match. The home side took the lead in the 11th minute when Hainiu's Wellington Silva unleashed a spectacular strike from outside the penalty area, finding the top corner of the net. Just four minutes later, Matheus equalized for West Coast, seizing an opportunity right in front of goal. 

Hainiu regained the advantage in the 42nd minute when midfielder Jia Feifan capitalized on a mistake by goalkeeper Li Hao. However, Matheus answered back in the 69th minute, scoring with a powerful header to level the match at 2-2, a score that held until the final whistle.

In other matches, Shandong Taishan struggled to secure their first home victory against Henan, as disaster struck in the 22nd minute when goalkeeper Wang Dalei was shown a red card, leaving his team to fight on with just ten men for the duration of the game. Despite their efforts, neither side managed to find the back of the net, resulting in a goalless draw.

Defending champions Shanghai Port enjoyed a fantastic start to their match, with Matheus Jussa scoring in the third minute. Brazilian striker Gustavo then added two more goals, leading the home team to a 3-1 victory over Shenzhen Peng City. Meanwhile, the clash between Tianjin Jinmen Tigers and Meizhou Hakka ended in a 2-2 stalemate, while Zhejiang FC and Dalian Yingbo played to a 1-1 draw.
