The second installment of the Creation of the Gods trilogy, "Demon Force," premiered in France on February 26, 2025. Following the success of "Kingdom of Storms," the first chapter of the epic saga, which captured the imagination of French audiences last year, this new chapter promises even more breathtaking visuals, immersive storytelling, and deep cultural resonance.
The scene was set for the Battle of Muye, one of the most celebrated conflicts in ancient Chinese history. This decisive battle took place between the Shang Dynasty and the Zhou Kingdom, a challenger to the throne who would go on to rule China after the fall of the Shang.
In "Creation of the Gods: Demon Force," nearly 2,000 special effects shots elevate the spectacle, with grand battlefields and mesmerizing magical displays showcasing the high level of production quality in Chinese cinema. This new chapter takes the mythological narrative to unprecedented levels, pushing the boundaries of epic fantasy storytelling.
The film is now showing in over 100 cinemas across more than 70 cities in France, including major theaters like UGC and Pathé in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, and beyond.
