A bus overturned in Thailand early on Wednesday, killing at least 17 passengers and injuring 40 others. The coach was taking government workers on a study trip from Bueng Kan in the north of the country to Rayong around 840 kilometers away. The vehicle spun out of control and skidded on a steep downhill curve in Nakhon Ratchasima province at around 3 a.m. on February 26.
