National People's Congress Deputy Xie Jian has dedicated nearly four decades of his life to running post office services across some of China's remotest islands. Xie Jian, who is from Wailingding Island off southern Guangdong Province, has submitted more than 20 motions to China's top legislature addressing regional issues from Greater Bay Area integration, to marine conservation and sustainable aquaculture development. CGTN reporter Xu Hua travelled to Wailingding Island to see the impact Xie Jian has had on the communities he serves.
