A robot dog is helping the residents of a senior care center to take their medicine on time. The dog weighs 14 kilograms and is equipped with a high-precision laser radar and camera. It can independently plan routes and avoid obstacles. It can also interact with the elderly, deliver items and accompany them on walks. The robot dog was developed at Westlake University and will soon enter mass production.
