China warns Philippines to stop false narrative on South China Sea issue

The Philippines said earlier this month that a navy jet of the Chinese People's Liberation Army carried out dangerous maneuvers when it flew close to a Philippine government aircraft. The Philippine Coast Guard added that the Chinese military's actions were reckless. In response, Chinese Defense Ministry spokesperson Wu Qian said on Thursday that the Philippines is spreading false narratives and violating international law.
