Traditional Chinese opera is a treasured part of China's cultural heritage. But passing down this treasure is no easy task. It's led to some individuals dedicating everything they have to preserve this tradition. One such person is Miao Jie, a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, or CPPCC, and a renowned Jin Opera actress from northern China's Shanxi Province.
