A red panda has been spotted enjoying the spring scenery atop a rocky peak in Yunnan's Gaoligong Mountain National Nature Reserve. Infrared cameras captured the adorable animal braving through swirling mist and gusty winds for the scenic view. Researchers say red pandas typically climb to higher ground for food or to bask in the sun. As a nationally protected species, they inhabit high-altitude forests in China's Xizang, Yunnan and Sichuan.
