Private enterprises should seize the wave of technological progress currently being represented by artificial intelligence to boost efficiency, transform products and better meet the needs of the general public, said Liu Yonghao, member of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of New Hope Group, in an interview with CGTN's Aaron Liu before the session. He said that only in this way can our private enterprises continue to grow and expand.
In 2024, China deepened the integration of technological and industrial innovation, and accelerated the construction of a modernized industrial system, according to Liu Jieyi, the spokesperson for the 3rd session of the 14th National Committee of the CPPCC, at a press conference on Monday. Among the World Economic Forum's list of 189 "lighthouse factories" globally, China accounted for 79, nearly half of which came from traditional industries, the spokesperson said.
