The North Team overpowered the South Team 159-136 in the 2025 CBA All-Star Game here on Sunday.

Beijing Royal Fighters' center Zou Yuchen, who scored a team-high 23 points, was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP).

"The electric atmosphere pushed me to elevate my game. Winning this MVP on the 30th anniversary feels like a career milestone," said Zou.

During halftime, a tribute honored legends from the inaugural 1996 CBA All-Star Game, including iconic players and coaches who shaped Chinese basketball's "Golden Generation".

Guangdong Southern Tigers' guard Xu Jie clinched his second title of the Skill Challenge Contest. Shanxi Loongs' sharpshooter Yuan Shuai dominated with a 25-point final round, successfully defending his crown in the three-point shooting contest. Wildcard entrant Chen Dengxing stole the show by leaping over seven teammates for a gravity-defying dunk, winning the slam dunk contest.

"Many legends here inspired me as a child. I've trained harder than most on shooting. Scoring 25 points back-to-back is special, but I aim to break this record next time," Yuan said.
