In Ningxia's Xiji County, Dong Chunjuan and her grandfather have been planting trees on the barren hills near their village since her childhood. It's been a hard road on which they've braved fierce winds and sandstorms. But it's all been worth it. A landscape once barren has now transformed into a green space that will bring joy for years to come.
