With spring on the horizon, these elegant winter guests in Korla, Xinjiang, are preparing for take-off! After spending the cold season there, wild swans are beginning their annual journey back to Bayanbulak. For 19 years straight, these graceful birds have made Korla their winter retreat, and this year it is estimated that around 520 swans have spent the season in the city.
