China plans to develop a package of major projects for climate change response and actively engage in and steer global environmental and climate governance in 2025, according to a government work report submitted to the national legislature for deliberation on Wednesday.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang delivered the work report on behalf of the State Council at the opening meeting of the third session of the 14th National People's Congress in Beijing.
