China will take measures to develop new quality productive forces based on local conditions, and foster the development of emerging and future industries, according to a government work report submitted on Wednesday to the national legislature for deliberation.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang delivered the work report on behalf of the State Council at the opening meeting of the third session of the 14th National People's Congress in Beijing.
The industries include commercial aerospace, low-altitude economy, biomanufacturing, quantum computing, embodied intelligence and 6G technologies. The country will also accelerate the digital transformation of traditional industries, according to Premier Li.
In addition, the digital economy is set to boost innovation vitality as China further promotes the "artificial intelligence plus" initiative that last year's government work report featured.
Premier Li added that the country will continue to maximize the allocation of computing power to establish globally competitive digital industry clusters.
