Chief drafters behind China's annual work report elaborated on the key points of the document and unveiled the process of its formulation on Wednesday.

The Chinese government's annual work report sets China's GDP growth target at around 5 percent for 2025, the same as the previous year. Shen Danyang, head of the drafting team, says the numbers were reached following careful deliberation. He also highlighted the word "reform" as the key theme of this year's government work report.
