Aminath Waheeda, a Maldivian tailor, had nearly lost her sight to severe cataracts, plunging her into despair. In late November 2024, Dr. Lin Haotian from Sun Yat-sen University's Ophthalmic Center performed sight-restoring surgery, gifting her renewed vision.
