For over 30 years, Wang Runmei has been working to clean more than 10,000 sewer manholes across Taiyuan, the capital city of Shanxi Province. Since 2013, she's been elected as a deputy to the National People's Congress for three consecutive terms. She's been advocating for improved drainage systems and modernized municipal equipment. At this year's Two Sessions, she's back with new proposals aimed at making cities cleaner and more efficient.
