Beikong edged Zhejiang with a narrow 129-127 victory in a thrilling CBA matchup on Thursday night after an intense overtime period, fueled by Grant Riller's remarkable performance, as he nailed 46 points.
In the first quarter, BeiKong struggled with efficiency, trailing 5-11 at one point. However, Riller stepped up, making significant contributions and scoring 16 points in the opening frame, allowing Beikong to finish the quarter tied at 27.
The second quarter saw Beikong maintain their offensive momentum, with standout performances from Zou Yuchen and Liao Sanning. They dominated the early part of the quarter, outscoring their opponents 20-6, and headed into halftime with a commanding 61-46 lead.
