The once polluted Tangdao Bay in China's eastern port city, Qingdao, has transformed into a thriving eco-friendly destination. Through the restoration of submerged vegetation, the area now features seagrass beds that act as powerful carbon sinks. CGTN spoke with a local official to explore how urban revitalization and environmental protection can coexist, fostering sustainable, livable communities.
