CPPCC member: Xinjiang sees improvement in delivery service in remote areas

Transportation and livelihood in remote areas in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region have significantly improved in recent years, said Ayimusha Tuohetahong, a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), on Friday.

As the vice chairwoman of the CPPCC of Ulugqat County in northwest China's Xinjiang, she said nearly all villages have been covered by the delivery service and agricultural and husbandry products from Xinjiang can be sold to other regions across China.

She made the remarks during a question-and-answer session at the Members' Corridor, as the third session of the 14th National Committee of the CPPCC held its second group interview at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
